Turn off borders

Post by Capitaine »

How can you turn off or hide the borders? They are so thick I can't see the course of rivers that might or might not exist underneath them. This is a major hindrance to knowing where to position units.

I don't think that's possible.

I was afraid of that. I noticed that originally the borders were thin lines and hexside rivers likely could be seen even along borders. With the bright thick borders now in place, they completely blot out the rivers, leaving me to guess the path of them. This should be something that should be added in a patch; that or give us an option of which border (old/new) to use in the settings.

setting defense based on terrain is nice idea, but it can work just vs ai, in mp there is only option, dont give a single hex for free

Yes, I can see that. However, I'm mainly talking about attacking and knowing whether one of the attacking hexes is across a river, or not.

I have posted a workaround over at Slitherene-Forum in the CTGW-modding subforum.

Can't post a link because of 10-post-antispam policy here, sorry.
