HR Manager

The HR Manager is responsible for hiring talent, and more importantly retaining them. You will play a key role in the success of the company through the development, implementation, and evolution of our talent strategy. In this role, you will be expected to understand our business, goals, and priorities. Once understood, you can begin building those strategies that work towards this. Ultimately, being tasked with attracting and retaining the most talented and diverse candidates across all levels of the organisation, and with employees all over the world. This is a new role and there is an opportunity to heavily influence the way the entire company is structured, so is a great opportunity for someone with the drive and passion to overcome these challenges and make a difference.

Main Responsibilities

  • Identify business needs, goals and priorities and working to create and implement an effective talent acquisition strategy to improve recruitment and business performance.
  • Lead all talent development, acquisition, onboarding, and apprenticeship projects for the business.
  • Organise and oversee all individual and team training programmes including global initiatives.
  • Develop and implement employee retention and engagement initiatives.
  • Anticipate the company’s future needs and work with stakeholders on recruitment strategies that will help to sustain business success.
  • Create and implement strategies to attract diverse candidates into all areas of the business.
  • Monitor and report [including exit interviews] on all labour turnover and provide practical solutions.
  • Manage and deliver user-end reporting and data to shape future projects and initiatives.

 

What we are looking for?

  • An independent driven individual with the vision and ability to create a HR system from scratch
  • A strong understanding of talent acquisition, talent development and management.
  • Ability to influence employees at all levels of the organisation to support your strategies.
  • Experience in developing and delivering onboarding to employees.
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and motivational skills.

 

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Negotiable and based on experience but around £40,000 per year

Location: Epsom, UK
