This is an incredible opportunity to join one of the most exciting development projects in the commercial and professional space. We are seeking skilled software developers to help with the development of the Command software family, both on the commercial and professional side. Your duties will primarily revolve around writing new code, as well as modifying existing code to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces. You will also be involved in directing system testing and validation procedures, and also working with customers or departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.
You will need extensive knowledge of programming languages and the software development life-cycle, ideally in Microsoft's .NET framework stack. LUA experience is also useful. A degree (Bachelors or Masters) in computer science, software engineering or related discipline is a plus but not required. Knowledge of modern military operations, hardware and processes is highly appreciated. Past wargaming experience not required but highly appreciated, and any expereince of playing the commercial version of Command is also a plus.
This is a full time permanent position. The position is remote, though could also be based at our Epsom or Milan office's if desired.
Some travel may be required but likely 1-2 times a year.
Salary is competitive and will depend on experience.
