CMO v1.05 Update - Build 1307.9

Post by Dimitris »

Download: https://www.mediafire.com/file/jm6cghqb ... .9.7z/file

How to use: First, have in place a working install of CMO v1.05. Then, unzip this pack on top of the installation, overwriting the exe and other files when prompted.
Always backup your existing Command.exe, just in case.

Build 1307.9 Release Notes (changes from B1307.8)
=======================================================

* The new "Sensors blocked by skyline at sensor location and along the LOS path to the target" feature (introduced in B1307.6) has now been isolated into its own separate "Effects of Terrain Type - ADVANCED" scenario realism option. This option is disabled by default, and should NOT be used unless you know what you are doing.
This was done in order to avoid breaking most scenarios where e.g. radars are placed in the middle of forests or urban sprawls without blockage considerations (Recent example: https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/view ... 6#p5084166).

* FIXED: Severe performance issue when checking if a specific table column exists on the database.

Have you tried the new Steam beta? It has a 64-bit version.

I tried the 64 bit build and transplant it to normal CMO install for now. But really it's not for NORMAL playing for now.

I have to resort to 64 bit build because I routingly excess 3GB memory cap imposed by 32bit build, as there are about 1-2000 missiles in the sky besides hundreds if not thousands of active sensors and jammers blasting. (This is why the new terrian feather will burn my lowly CPU off the motherboard)

Now I always runs into about 6-7Gs of memory, sometimes to 10G.

It's about the same build as 1307.6, feature wise, with a newer and buggier map drawing system (but didn't bother me too much at this moment). If you are happy with 32 bit branch, stay with it.

If you have CMO on Steam, just select the Open Beta option and you'll have it. (after several minutes of downloading and installing). You can revert back by deselecting Open Beta (again, it takes some time)

I'm getting no sound in 1307.9
Brand new fresh Win 10 Pro install.
I'll roll back to the official Steam version to make sure audio IS working right there too, otherwise I've clearly got other issues.
