Anybody else lean over in the chair hoping to see what the superstructure actually looked like?

Still curious if that's the more delta-looking aircraft people have been taking blurry pictures of.

Check with Ukraine. The US will send them there first. <lol>

Or, check with China. They probably already have the blueprints and all of the specs.

Assumed and supposed specs, some of them at least.

Unfortunately that doesn't say much. How many windows and the position of the engines is apparent from photos. I believe the DB team needs details like operational range, loadouts, RCS etc, etc etc. I'm sure these will come out in time and educated assumptions will be able to fill the gaps, but early guesses will simply create confusion, myth and consternation for years to come.

I think we can wait for a bit

Another guess in the link below, RCS 20% lower with respect to the B-2, so 0,0008 m2? ;)

Had a friend who is a recently retired Marine aviator. He told me a couple years ago that the RCS on a B-52 was so big that you could see what the pilot had for breakfast. Its like a oy mama fight, but with RCS.

I don't want to face any bug with a 10 cm2 whatever cross section area of any kind.

Binkov's post reveal analysis is up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5D_bOhsKCKE

I agree that's it's currently too early to have a reasonable-projection DB entry for the Raider, but perhaps in 6 months or so.

Eventually we the community will want the Raider to play with when building and playing Future Combat Scenarios.

So while it is a little early, I think the DB authors should start gathering some preliminary data

(all of it open source of course; there will inevitably be a lot of educated guesses when the Raider finally arrives in the DB)

Nobody knows what the real RCS values of the B2 are never mind the B21. Command models stuff using some known physics calculations and then pads with some adjustments that may or may not be right/real whatever. It's pretty good modeling considering the unknowns and it seems sufficient when you compare most units against each other. It's a model, though, and not real. So the RCS isn't the sticking point. You just make it slightly more stealthy than the B2.

Engines, range, payloads are what is needed. I'd focus there.

Let hope the in-flight meals are a lot larger than the radar cross section. Insects are not part of the USAF diet yet.

Found this second video informative as a general review, not specs.

Come on there are fb-22, a-12 and Aurora and many other hypotetical systems in the database actually.

You said it yourself, they are hypothetical. The B-21 is not. The bar is at a different level.
