problems with MC and v8.4?

Hey all,

This is a re-post (from other forum sections) but I'm still having trouble with crashes using Command & Control in any MegaCampaign after upgrading to v8.4.

Standard scenarios or campaigns are fine, but as soon as I turn on C&C and click a unit while in a MC, the game dumps .

Anyone else try the new patch yet?

Hello...

Cannot reproduce failure. Need more data.

1) Need complete list of options settings.
2) Does failure occur in all Mega-Campaigns or just some and if so, which ones?
3) What are exact steps which can cause failure?

Would be useful, if everyone reading this could run tests.

I tried it with Lost Victories, and Desert fox, I only have these 2, with command and control on...True troop on/rarity off, unit comm on. when you click on any unit other then the HQ, the game crashes.

Happens to me in all 4 MC's. All 4 MC's I have are from the 8.0 team CD and have been subsequently installed into later versions, 8.2, then 8.3 and finally 8.4, as they became available. Any saved game crashes, sometimes right after clicking on one unit, sometimes it takes 2 or 3 different units. WatchTower would not even let me get out of the startup screen.

Starting up a new MC any of them, causes a subsequent crash as well.

All options on except: Fast Arty, Floating Map Text, AI Advantage and OP Fire confirmation. Move radius A enabled and true troop/rarity is on.

All player preferences are set to XXX(default) or 100%.

He finally was able to reproduce the Crash, but not sure it has anything to do with the 8.4 mech.
