blew right through the savannah campaign (well, right through every mission but 5 and 7. 5 remains to be the toughest mission I've met so far, and I got unlucky in 7), and am currently up to mission 5 of the Rebellion campaign. 4 jocks, 2 light Titans and 2 mediums. more than enough cash and skill to go 4 mediums, but I am trying to stay more or less in the tonnage recomendations from the briefings.
I've only fought 1 random battle, as I know enough to maximise my salvage. it is not unusual for me to get over 125k in salvage now. of course, it helps that my leader is in a medium Titan with 2 neutron guns. I've had it for 3 missions now, and in each mission I've manged to get at least one enemy jock to keel over dead w/o harming the Titan he is piloting. oddly, out of 4 irradiated jocks, this has netted only 2 kills, as one jock bled to death and the other went unconcious and fell on his head.
a lot of fun, really. if anyone cares, I'll post a more proper AAR on what I've gone through up to now, and where things stand at the end of campaign 2. I should be stomping around in 4 mediums by then, I should think.
