Yeah I don't see the beauty in anything like a Grant or a Lee. [;)]
Much better [;)]
It's an awful tank, I will admit. Apparently the Russians called it (loosely translated) "The honourable coffin for 6 men". It's riveted design meant that, if struck or just even moderately agitated, the bolts that held it together would be launched into the crew compartment like bullets. Which was, shall we say, less than optimal for the crews health.

A weird design. HMS Gotland is looking more like a cruise ship, than a cruiser, or rather a aircraft cruiser. What purpose she would have had in a conflict eludes me.

French ironclad Carnot. It hurts my eyes when I look at it. And this isn't the worst looking one.

The Leander-class. Beautiful. Unusual - certainly for British cruisers of the time - in that they had just one stack.

Well, you will have to open the picture to see them but here are a couple of nice, big [;)] things . . .
I guess that a person could call them "Jugs" [;)] and they appear to be a nice, matching set of those big and beautiful things . . .
A song as well . . .

It's a submarine, isn't it?

Sometimes it's difficult to know where 'Character' crosses into ugly.
Personally I've always had a soft spot for the SM.79. I think she stays just the right side of 'full of character'.

Sticking with things Italian, there is the Piaggio bomber. No full of character, just ugly thanks to the nose.
