Decisive Campaigns: Ardennes Offensive is the fourth wargame in the Decisive Campaign series. Covering the battles in the Ardennes between December 1944 and January 1945, it brings to life Operational wargaming by lowering the scale to just above tactical level.

Vic and his creations have such serious cred price doesn’t matter to me. Manual will be Vic’s usual superb tome. Game will be great by current genre standards plus add new creative “Vicisms”.

Can’t wait. Reading thru stack of history books you guys recommended getting ready.

If you can check out some of the documentaries about the Battle of the Bulge too. It can be mind blowing, at least it was to me, to see a Sherman tank sliding around on black ice as it is driving through a village.

This was a pretty good video on one group of guys holding up the Germans

Shootout!: Battle of the Bulge - Full Episode

Not a real fan of re-enactment vids...but the interviews were pretty good
