Naval Patrol AD and Priority 1.01.07B and 1.01.09B

Post by Hardradi »

In 1.01.07B and 1.01.09B

When Naval Patrol is set to Low Priority it still flies before all other Very High Priority airfield bombing missions on Day 1. This means its likely to get intercepted and there is nothing you can do to stop it.

This didn't happen in the original version of the game. There is no mention in the patches about changes to Air Directive Priority.

Do you happen to have a save you could upload or email that is set up with the ADs just before you enter the air execution phase?

Yes, I do Joel. Finally. [:)] I tested it in a new game.

I created the Rumanian Naval Patrol first (set to Low)
Then the AGS Airfield raid (Set to Medium, High or Very High)
Then I created a northern Naval Patrol (set to Low)
Then I created two other airfield directives (Set to Medium, High or Very High).

The Rumanian Naval Patrol flies first, then the northern Naval Patrol and then the Airfield bombings.

Turns out this is WAD. Patrol ADs (Naval/AS) always fly first. I will make sure this rule clarificaton gets noted in the next update and the living manual.
