Residual fighting during a siege

Post by Ekaton »

So, residual fighting when units are next to one another causes losses on both sides. What about sieges? If I attach siege and heavy artillery to units adjacent to forts or their corps, will it increase losses or cause city damage to the defenders, or is it only done through attacking?

I don't think you will get any additional damage by attaching more units. I don't recall how the adjacent attrition damage is calculated, but I think this goes back to WitE1.
