Cost of a card?

Post by minimen456 »

Here is a screenshot. The first Send Spy card got generated for 10 BP, the second for 15 BP. Why does the cost rise? What influences the cost of a card?

The number of the same stratagem that you already have.

For instance I have 9 Send Spy stratagems, so my 10th one would cost me 400 spyCardPoints ("counciled" BPs).

Though sometimes the increase on the same turn is wonky ?

So it is better in a way to use them if there is a reason to rather than accumulate lots of one type - which can happen with spy cards. I never really thought about that.

Depends, this also has an effect on the chances of generating one card rather than another ("weights"), so stratagems that you have less of are more likely to be generated.

For instance in this case I want the more PP-efficient "Send Spy Ring" (and "Shadow Spy"), so I'm letting "Send Spy" and "Send Spy Team" accumulate.

This is brilliant! You can actually control which card will be generated
