Greetings to All,
My 3 favorite tactical board wargames that are still on sale (33%-35% off) are:
1) Lock n Load Tactical Heroes of the Motherland (Eastern Front) sale ends Jan 11
https://store.lnlpublishing.com/heroes- ... -llp312513

2) GMT Last Hundred Yards Western Front Europe (pre-order 2nd printing)
https://www.gmtgames.com/p-901-the-last ... nting.aspx

3) Compass games Combat (solitaire man to man combat Western Front Europe) Sale ends Jan 31.

I hope that Last Hundred Yards and Combat will have Eastern Front versions in the future.

I got this Heroes of the Pacific when first came out, thought it was pretty good board game. Unfort i didnt have anyone to play with lol. And still have this massive War in the Pacific 2nd edition by DG. Just wish it has better combat system for all ground, naval and air engagement charts.

I have Combat!

Bought it full price and it's worth every single penny. Mechanics are great, components are decent and most importantly - single man battles.

It's very good.

Greetings Rising-Sun,
LnL Tactical system has excellent Heroes of the Pacific v5.1 for boardgame and/or digital tactical version on Steam.
I have the TabelTop Simulator on Steam and use the workshop boardgame versions which are free.
All the LnL Tactical games are available there and can be played solo or with others.

Greetings JudgeDredd,
I use the TableTop Simulator on Steam for the Steam Workshop version for Compass Games Combat when I cannot setup on table at home(wife hogs all the tables with quilting projects).

Compass games has the pre-order open for Combat Vol2: D-Day to V-E Day which adds vehicles and tanks to the system.

Love Combat! Expensive but worth every penny. Can't wait for Combat 2 with the new campaign feature this year.

Greetings wodin,
I hope that Combat vol3 will be on the Eastern Front.
Imagine being able to send Steiner and his squad on patrol/recon or show Stransky where the iron crosses grow.

Greetings dox44,
I too play Up Front & ASL. Also, Band of Brothers Ghost Panzer.
I prefer Lock n Load Tactical to Old School Tactical (though still a good game).
i strongly recommend you add Combat to your collection. After I did, Combat is now my favorite.

NWS online store has best price on Combat & Combat vol2:

I go direct to Compass Games myself since it is in stock:

Hmm i need to look into that, sadly Steam isnt really good given out recommendation. I kept getting useless, boring games on the list and i cant imagine how many i have ignored.

Thank for reminding me of that.

I'm presuming, that when Second Front is released (computer wargame title), my obsession with tactical board game ASL might lessen.

I had hopes for Tigers on the Hunt. But it's interface is on par with Schwerepunct's design as well :)

Wargame, 05% of the time.
Play with Barbies 05% of the time.
Play with Legos 10% of the time.
Build models 20% of the time
Shopping 60% of the time.
Exlains why I buy em more than I play em.

Greetings MrsWargamer,
I also look forward to Second Front as the possible computer version for ASL.
Had high hopes for Tigers on the Hunt but it was tedious to play.
