Ghosts of War 2020 Netflix

Post by MrsWargamer »

This is sooo good, it is hard to describe.

It begins feeling like a good war movie. Then things start going spooky. Then it becomes more a horror film. It has a great ending.

Not sure if I call it a great war movie, or a great horror movie.

I didn't like the last part *no spoilers* If you like war and horror there's Outpost (2008). And the hilarious Norwegian film Dead Snow. Social satire though with lots of nazi zombies.

And, of course, the unmissable Iron Sky. [:D]

In some ways, isn't a war movie a horror movie?
Seek peace but keep your gun handy.

I'm not a complete idiot, some parts are missing!

For some reason I could not finish watching it. The thing is I can't remember exactly what or why I did not like [&:] I will give it a try again, who knows. Thank you. In theory it's the sort of movie I like. Ridiculous nazis from the outer space seeking revenge, what's not to like?

Haven't seen Overlord, but isn't that a mashup between D-day and Nazi horror experiments?

Great spooky one set during the first world war. I also remember watching a Korean (an actual Korean film too) War film that was good and spooky.

One of the horrors that stayed with me was a Turkish film called Baskin. It's just come out on Amazon prime I think. If you enjoy horrors then watch it.

Star Trek franchise has that going on. The Original Series has at least 1 such episode.
You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.
