Post by IronX »

The current version of the Blue Max mod is: 1.2.1

Please note that the mod has been reorganized so that users can activate individual parts of the mod to suit their preferences.

Main features of the mod include:

- Original main and splash screen art - default and two alternatives
- Two choices of original counter art - NATO and hybrid that change with research
- Map enhancements, including new borders, fronts, fort and city icons
- Numerous new WWI-era sounds

Latest update:

- UI panel and icon compatibility fix for game v.1.02.

Next update will include:

- tbc

Instructions:

1. Delete previous versions of Blue Max mod(s)

2. Download the mod HERE.

3. Unzip ALL contents of the zip file to:

C:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\Strategic Command WWI\Mods

NB: If there isn't one there, you need to run the game at least once or create it manually.

4. Activate the mods you want to use in Settings (Recommended: all)

Damn, those are nice, might just have to buy the game. Good work, sir.

Just one moment. I don't think that icons for urban centers are good. It's hard to distinct them. The same for fortified cities. Plz, may be add numbers as for forts. It will be more obvious. And of course thank you for your work.

As soon as I saw the upcoming generic screenies for SC3 WW1, I thought, "I hope IronX is interested."

SC3 series has more depth, detail and overall polish than ever. Because of modders like you, they can get away with passable graphics. But the mods add so much to the game.

Thank you and others for continuing to support SC3+

I would just like to add that I was interested in this game but it was way down on my buying priorities. But with this splendid graphics mod, which surpasses your SC3 WAW and WIE work, I will be purchasing.

I already own the two previous SC3 titles, and will buy this one too. But can't wait to get this one thanks to this splendid and top quality mod.
Congrats Ironx, the style on unit imaged counters is simply awesome and very professional. Any plans to get a similar update on your mods for SC WW2 WIE and SC WAW in a future?

Thanks, guys.

No immediate plans to update the previous mods, but I won't rule it out.

I really like the unit counters as they have that Worthington boardgame feel......
