Sakura Blue, 2018 - Beta Release

Date: 21 November 2018
Location: East China Sea
Playable Sides: Japan, Taiwan
Duration: 8 days
Hypothetical
Sakura Blue 2018 is a fictional joint forces exercise held between regional allies Taiwan (Republic of China) and Japan.
The exercise is intended to allow Japanese forces to practice defence against an incursion into their territory while providing an opportunity to allow Taiwanese forces to practice holding territory against an amphibious invasion.
The scenario is playable from either side. Will you be able to hold the islands of Yonaguni, Taketomi, Ishigaki, Tarama and Miyakojima as the Republic of China? Or will you reclaim your territory commanding the Japanese Self Defence Forces?...
With thanks to SakiNoE for assistance with scenario development
IMPORTANT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Unzip the contents of the attached zip file to your CMANO main directory, not the scenarios directory. This scenario uses externalised scripts which will not function correctly if this simple step is not followed.
Features:
Playable from Both Sides with an Adaptive AI Opponent
Deploy Special Forces Teams from Submarines
Deploy LLTV Surveillance Buoys from Submarines
Stores Management and Munitions Transfer System
Requisition Additional Forces (Japan Only)
Replay Recent Special Messages
Shipwreck Survivors / Downed Pilots / Combat Search & Rescue
Extreme Weather and Effects on Units
Random Breakdowns
Attrition Model and Open-Ended Objectives

RE: Coming Soon
Excellent news. I have half-ready Japan scenario and several others half-ready. Maybe we get to see new Kuril bases? Japanese carriers? Cool stuff.

I'm thinking something to do with reflections. That F-15 is intriguing though...

Hi Apache
Great. It seems that in the gameplay notes the sections were moved to wrong positions somethimes (PDF) and are assigned on the wrong headers...
Otherwise very interesting. Also the report on the deployed munitions are great! I wish every bigger scenario has this!! In the past i made an excel file and copied it over from every base manually and the formated it with formulas
So is this generic LUA i can use on other scenarios also?
