video Resolution

I need help for the longest time this game has been unplayable for me due to issues with the resolution. I've tried the different suggestions on how to increase it but regardless they still don't work. Why is the game locked at 1024/768, the options just don't work when trying to set video scale for native screen resolution.

Yes tried your guide with the 1.04,but still not able to get native screen resolution. The only thing that works sort of is to reduce native screen res. to 1040/768 and then resizing if after the game is running but unit size and clarity is very fuzzy and unfocused.

This game and my other old favorite, Plan Orange would benefit from some upgrades to the graphics engine, so they could take advantage of larger monitors and higher resolutions.

If you haven't solved your resolution problem, this settings work just fine for me in my 27" monitor:
