I am a big fan of Jean Shepherd, (late radio personality, author, star of TV and movies), and he was always referring to Dismal Seepage, Vic and Sade, etc.
"Shep" was recently entered into the Radio Hall of Fame and was the first radio monologist.
Most remembered as the author and narrator of the annual movie classic, "The Christmas Story",(in which Ralphie tries to get a Daisy Red Ryder 200 shot lever-action repeater BB gun.)
