Sighting Question, Halftracks

As Halftracks can't button/unbutton, but do seem to have the same Feild of View as Unbottoned AFVs, do they have the same base sighting Number as an unbuttoned AFV?

I can't really tell ingame, but it seems like at times they are blind as a bat.

Which they shouldn't be. The guy on the MG 42 could see in all directions. But in the sighting for vehicles they only see forward.

Hoping to get that changed in a patch.
