BUG: Land combat during NAVAL Combat phase

Attached is a copy of the French Feb 1806 NAVAL COMBAT turn phase from the CleverDevils2 PbEM game. The program is asking if I want to "ASSULT FREIBERG" (which is just about as far from anything naval as you can get[&:]). Freiberg was
an unsuccessful seige in January 1806 combat. I don't think that this is a
critical bug becuase you can simply say no (but it IS also POSSIBLE to say "yes",
fight and WIN the combat & eliminate the garrison - I don't know WHAT the
outcome of THAT would be)

The pw for France is "heaven"

I seen it a couple times now. Only in pbm games.
What patch do you guys use ?
1.02G ? All same?

Should more evidence of this bug be required I have one from a 1.02G PBEM game with France attacking Karlruhe in Jan 1806. Except that France is the defending garrison and it asks "Do you want to assault Karlsruhe" *not* "Do you want to attack the besiegers"

I think you are misunderstanding what the bug IS. The problem is that
the game is attempting to do LAND COMBAT during the NAVAL COMBAT PHASE

It shouldn't be doing ANY combat. (I had NO naval combats).

I have also had land combat in the naval combat phase. The game goes into naval combat after a naval movement phase. It then asks me to resolve a couple of sieges. I click 'no' and it goes away. No big deal but a bug even so.

Land combat like corps vs corps ? How can you be in same area together ?
I think 1.02g brought somehow sometimes siege combats to happen after naval move, (eg in Naval combat phase).
Im not aware if this was fixed in 1.02j, it was not on the list. And my pbm games i dont think any sieges during naval phase eligble yet.

No, you are inferring something that isn't in my post. I said I have more evidence of this bug, the bug being land combat during the naval phase - exactly as you stated.

I didn't feel the need to reiterate what the bug was in my post, perhaps I should have.
