Is there a Grand Campaign 1914-1918?

Post by Jim_Grognard »

I was a fan of the AH board game from back in the day, and this version of the game looks really interesting. I saw from one of the screencaps on the site that it looks like there are four scenarios in the game, 1914, 1915, 1916, and 1917. Is there also a way to play a full campaign 1914-1918 in the Matrix version of the game?

There is definitely a grand campaign that allows you to play from 1914 into 1919, although I have not yet got that far yet myself in any games I've played. This is not a computer version of the old AH board game. It is a much more comprehensive and accurate simulation of WWI than the old AH game was.

The campaigns each give you an option to stop or continue at the end of the year - to play the 1914-19 "Grand Campaign" simply start the 1914 one and cheose to continue when it presents a victory screen at the end of 1914.
