? Getting Started ?

The manual states "Activation" and "Deployment" phases. The game states "Mobilization" phase. Is mobilization the same as activation or deployment or neither?

mobilisation is only available at the beginning of new games and allows you to move all (in 1914) or at least some troops to whereever you want. this is called deployment in the manual.

during activation you activate headquaters to start offensive moves and you can use your airpanes to spy troops.

You activate HQ's during activation phase by clicking on em and selecting "activate"

Strategic phase: Here you refit units and headquaters, you produce new units, you buy planes, activation points, naval points etc.. you also buy headquater points, you do diplomacy and naval deployments.
