Extra Pixels in Menu text

Post by blackcloud6 »

I just installed the Steam versions of Final Blitzkrieg and Fortress Italy. On all the menu texts I get extra gray pixels either on the text or in between letters making them difficult to read. Also, in Fortress Italy, the map names over the towns and just have the text twice, white text and then red text in front of it, again making it difficult to read. I played around with various graphics settings and nothing changes this.

First, are you running CM using an integrate GPU? If given the choice and left on its own Windows will almost always choose the integrated GPU over the higher performance GPU. That almost always causes issues.

What is your DPI scaling and layout set to? You may need to override the high DPI setting for the application, you can find that in the Compatibility tab of the executable's property page.
