Obsolete engines in 1892

Post by Squarehead »

I think I ran into a minor bug here with a legacy ships apparently suffering from being obsolete in 1892.
From the battle logs of Rodney:
28 10:14 Obsolete ship. Engines are acting up!
The ship doesn't have the O tag and according to ship history was laid down in 1897 so it should be fine.

No battle save unfortunately as i didn't notice the event in the logs till the battle was over. For what it's worth I attached the next turn save.

The '1897' laid down date is a known error, obviously it is well after the '1890' game start date. I think Fredrik meant it to be 1879, which would make the ship 13 years old if that is correct...

I checked again and turns out I typoed there the history log says laid down 1887 not '97 (too many games of RtW2 - I can't adjust to the 1880s being recent!).
