problems with current amd driver

Post by geforth »

Hello everyone. :-)

I have other Combat Mission games on slitherine (Shock Force 2 and Black Sea) and I like both of them and I would like to buy Battle for Normandy as well. But the current amd driver does not work well with combat mission games (flashing white screen during ingame explosions) and a downgrade is not an option. Does anybody know, how long will it take to fix the problem? Unfortunately I have to wait until the problem is fixed. :/

with best regards

From past experience, it could take years.
Chancellor Gorkon to Captain James T. Kirk:
You don't trust me, do you? I don't blame you. If there is to be a brave new world, our generation is going to have the hardest time living in it.

Hi, have you tried to get a Steam key for the games and try them on that system?

Perhaps, just guessing, what about the option component for video resolution?

Hope you get it worked out. Yes, these games are old and made for Windows outside of XP and Windows 7.
