Editor map help

Post by NickGen »

Hi,
I'm trying to create my first map with the editor, but I have a few questions:
Is it possible to delete a river hexside once it is placed? I haven't found how to do it.

How are placed the "contents" elements on the map ?
When I click with the right button, nothing happens.I think I will soon be able to post screenshots of my current map...

Thank you for your answers.

Yes, press Ctrl-Z

Left click on the desired content then right click in the desired hex on the map.

Yes, I know I can do ctrl-Z,
but if I later want to go back to the path of the river to modify it,
I can no longer do ctrl-Z... it would be useful to have a "erazer" tool

I actually think for the placement of "contents", I hadn't placed a basic terrain yet, that's why it not working

an eraser tool is on my wish list tooo. I think BK is adding it.

At the moment if it's too late for ctrl-z the only way I am aware of is to use "invalid terrain" and erase the hex and all hexsides info.

I can confirm: Invalid terrain does help big time since it seems to work on saved maps.

In the patch, I'm adding code to delete one terrain type from a hex, so like delete tracks and leave everything else in the hex.
Cheers,
