When Balik Fusthi, Emperor of the republic, convinced the senate that War with Yosul Junction Empire was necessary in order to secure the Oragoex 1 colony's trade, 19 of their fleets comprising of over 200 fleet ships was mobilized to the, so called, offending system. It sent a chilling echo throughout the galaxy.
So far Mortalen Republic had already Vassalized the Boskaran Territory, conquered the Haakonish Empire's bordering colonies, and completely conquered the Mortalen Alliance, eliminating them from the Galactic equation. Apart from the Boskaran Territories' conquered bugs being somewhat unhappy being led by the Mortalen race, things are relatively peaceful and no anticipated problems to the galaxy are foreseen by them. The Haakonish Empire's conquered peoples including Haakonish, Teekan, and Gizurean species, proved to be quite happy being conquered. No one batted an eye when the Human Oceu Junction Alliance War with the Mortalen Alliance was resolved by the assimilation of the Mortalen Alliance, by their Mortalen counterpart republic empire; ending the war. In fact, the Mortalen republic reportedly, and it is the conventional wisdom to be the truth, that the Mortalen Empire gave significant valued technolongies, and starmap location to important systems in the galaxy for transfering an Oceu Junction Alliance conquered Mortalen colony. The two emerging empires that few had even heard about were also assimilated by the Mortalen Republic Empire. Since the time when the Pirate faction owning the reported undefeatable mammoth battleship were aniallated, the reputation of the Mortalen Republic Empire had soared, resulting in tens of, if not all remaining indepent colonies, in joining the galactic republic. It has become clear that the danger and opportunity exists as the Mortalen Republic Empire continues to progress at alarming rates of research and founding new colonies; but the other empires of the galaxy are in a state of subconscious panic.
As it stands now the distraction of the Haakonish Empire's war with the other Human Urctun Confederacy, taking over at least three of their colonies, seems to be playing in the favor of the Mortalen Republic. Attempts are being made to enable the Urctun Confederacy to take care of their own, with the gift of a powerful captured Hive Carrier by the Mortalen Republic, along with some token military technologies to assist in their defense. Evidently the Mortalen Republic plans to attempt the Vassalization of the Yosul Junction Empire as they are facing wars at 3 borders. The Ryluth Consortium, a trading empire of Teekans, the Vassal state of the Boskaran Territory complete the WAR pressure on the Yosul Junction Empire. The other Teekan empire, the owner of the second largest territory in square parsecs and in coloniies, the Ryluth Consortium, boasts the second largest population of 130 billion compared to the 342 billion of the Mortalan Republic Empire; they are at war and probably very interested in what the Mortalen Empire is up to, as they, and the Republic's Vassal are also warring the same Zenox empire. Lastly, the Janudral Mezzar Ascendancy, an Empire of Ackdarians, currently at peace, have good relations with the Mortalan empire, while the Oceu Junction Alliance are posturing being furious with the Mortalen Republic Empire for breaching their territory with ships. It is curious that these ships they are furious about happen to be trading with the Mortalen colonies. It is a fact that the Mortalan Republic Empire borders all of their virtual borders, and, has 3 major trade routes traversing their territory. It is a possibility that the Oceu Junction might choose to declare on the Republic, but for the reasons of lowering their aggressing conquests, ... unless it backfires on them!
