it really sucks that the UI takes away the event when the game is paused...

when paused - the game should never take away current notifications, unless I dismiss them.
when unpaused, it's welcome to clear them immediately and proceed.
But when paused - well - I do hope PAUSED holds a similar meaning in your minds as the dictionary definition and common implementation in other games: NO PROGRESS.

As it is - I see something pop up I want to see what it is- I pause - then as I'm mousing over the first of several, it magically makes them all disappear after a second or so - with no way to retrieve them / see what I missed / address them.

I get that other threads are further along than the UI thread I'm in -- but the timeout of events MUST BE TIED TO MY UI THREAD, NEVER TO THEIR ORIGIN, EXCEPT AS A HINT.

Their timeout - is one of MY EXPERIENCE OF THEM. It is a UI feature, not inherent to the event, but inherent to MY EXPERIENCE OF THE EVENT-NOTIFICATION.

Please fix this.
