How to Find Saves and Crash and Session Logs

You can find saved games in the /data/savedgames sub-folder of your installation directory.

SessionLog.txt and CrashDump logs are found in the /data/logs sub-folder of your installation directory.

You can find your installation directory on Steam by right-clicking on Distant Worlds 2 in your game library, then choosing "Properties" then "Local Files" then "Browse.

Please zip any saved games to reduce their size.

most problematic is that gme hangs or crashes a lot without crash logs.
playing RTS, strategy and RPG games from ...ever?
