Anime-style mecha?

This is still one of the most functionally awesome games I ever played, but I haven't touched it in over a year because I just couldn't look at those mechs anymore.  A few of the models are okay, but most of them are just hideous.  I am no fan of "eastern style anime mecha" at all, I am firmly in the BT, western, camp, but I have always wished that someone had modded these to look better and have uniform camo for each sides units.  Oh well,.....
