Embankment

Post by Prince of Eckmühl »

At GoodGuy's suggestion, I'm trying to create a tank-trap using the embankment function in Mapmaker.

I follow the instructions for a "line type" terrain, in this case railroad, but I can't get the embankment to show up.

Is the embankment function still working in MM?

Yes it is. I just tested it. You have to set a hight for it by selecting the Map\LineEmbankment menu item and entering a value which represents the number of metres. Hit OK and the rail line should have a grey line running along each side to indicate the embankment.

Okay, I select a line terrain, in this case railroad, select line embankment, enter a value for the elevation, and hit enter:

Yep. That rail line now has an embankment. Do you see the grey lines on either side? It's a bit difficult because of the light background colour. But they are there.
