Unit counters

Post by Sarge »

I like most of the art work done on the game, but the (Para,Infantry and the conscript counters need some work. I started this project sometime ago and over the weekend finished up the first leg of the project. Here is some screen of some things to come. One is pretty much a veiw of all on map counters (Para,Infantry and Conscript) , and a screen of close up view of a counter the a on map veiw.

Dang! You the MAN!
Any clues on how to integrate your new icons with the game? Or do we just replace the Art.txt file with yours?

Maybe I'm missing something? The attachment link gives me only the on-screen jpg when I click on it. Or is the case that the icons are still in the "production sprial"?[&:]

Thanks in advance

P.S. They look fantasctic![&o]

Hey there,
I really like the new unit counters that you've put together. I was all for making better TGA art files, i was planning to do it for my self ^^ until i found this topic. -- aletoledo above mentioned the size being to big, now i experimented with the Allied infantry and even with a reduction of about 50% roughly the men still had great detail and looked better than the W@W ones - Though i must say the world war war art isnt bad ;).
Only problem being there is no shadow on these men.

Now I like these and might start using them my self if thats ok?
