Like the listed changes! Based on the last note does this mean that with finances off a scrub will never be picked, since there will never be dire financial straits?

Yes, as long as there are enough non-scrubs to fill the rosters.

Here comes the stupid question of the day. Do I need to have upgraded to 1.85a before applying or can I jump straight to 1.86 from 1.85 and still get all of the 1.85a and 1.86 enhancements?

I would assume 1.86 includes everything previously fixed.

Is there some little file identifier or something that could be changed or annotated to keep multiple iterations of PureSim from showing up in the "Add or Remove" listings in Win XP ? Trying to remain current results in a significant number of iterations of PureSim. In an earlier thread there was discussion of how to delete the extraneous listings without actually doing an un-install/re-install.
It's not a hot issue, but that thread was succeeded by enough subsequent threads to knock it off page one.

I believe that CCleaner used to accomplish the removal of incorrect entries in the "Add Remove" list but the current version does not.
Glary Utilities : http://www.glaryutilities.com/gu.html does do this.
You have to use caution, obviously.
Back up your association.
In Glary, go to Cleanup and Repair > Uninstall Manager and click on one of the instances of "PureSim" there.
Then click on "Click here for support information". A box will pop up that will tell you what version that entry is associated with.
Then click on "Delete Entry" marked by the red "X" at the top of the screen. Repeat as necessary, but don't get carried away

I just saw something that I have never seen before in this game. It was very cool. There was a runner on second with 1 out. This was the PbP:

Bill Collins grounded out. Score it: (5-5)

After the hundreds of games I've played I've never seen an unassisted out that wasn't a force out.

Finally got a chance to try this one out. Good work, Shaun! In looking at the amateur draft it looks like the scrub selection problem is much better. In my 20-team association in 1.85 had on average 15-22 scrubs selected out of 100 draft picks. In my first draft in 1.86 only 2 scrubs were selected . . . much better!

Is there any way to change the association structure from 2 leagues - 2 divisions each - TO 2 leagues - 3 divisions each in going from 1993 to 1994 as happened in real life???

As the PureSim Website no longer exists, is it still possible to obtain this release?

Thanks.
