Went into Dunberry and blew them out....4-0 for the Makos!!!  Still first place in the East...

Greaney had a huge game, turning into a ready for primetime quarterback...

Hagin still on his way to setting records, 15 more catches for 278 yards and 3 TD's...

Sugden gets his first pick of the season...

Our defense is doing awesome, this is looking like the year....

DreamTeams - How can you overlook the most prolific scoring offense for the spotlight again?  Or even the most prolific defense in Tylersville?  The unstoppable force vs the immovable object week 6...it's coming with more hype than a USC blowout over Ohio State [:D]

Yep. Week six will sport two HUGE matchups if Metropolis, Tylerville, Easton and St. Cruze can all make it there undefeated. But, they have to get through week five opponents first.

Here's the historical team vs team records against their week five opponents...

Metropolis holds a 2-1-1 record over Gateway.
Roxford holds a 3-1 recored over Tylerville.
Newport Bay holds 3-1 record over Easton.
Jaxton and St. Cruze are tied 2-2.

What have you done to Dunberry?

They have stunk it up since winning it all in the first season.

Wow, first, can't believe Gateway beat Metropolis, seems like most seasons Gateway isn't that good, apparently they're decent this year, got a running game for sure.

Then, we're still undefeated!!!!!!!!  5-0, only undefeated team left in the East, and one of two (Tylerville) undefeated teams left in the MFL.

Easily beat Jaxton, Greaney is the real deal at QB, I can officially say it now.  Then I gotta update Hagin's stats again, another monster game, 20 catches, 307 yards, 3 TDs.  The guy is ridiculous, he's going to set all the receiving records and my Makos should set some passing records as well.  Was a battle of the two best WR's this week also, my guy Hagin against Jaxton's Keedwell, we all saw showed up and who's really the best WR in the league. [:)]

Can't really see us losing a game this season, but we do have our toughest test of the season next week, on the road, at the second place Barons, who are coming off their first loss of the season.

love how we're getting no resepct also, the weak Western Conference gets the game of the week, the West never wins, the East runs the MFL.  [:)]

I know, every coach can manage a team for a span of 5 years.
But - please!- something has to happen in Bay City.
As it is now, we´re repeating the fate of the 80´s T.B. Bucs.

LOL. That's funny.:-)

Feel your pain th1207. Actually, I did switch out the Comets playbook this season. I rarely do that as Hack releases new playbooks or I find playbooks that play well within the parameters I've set for the league. Hack just released updated playbooks and also included a new one, so I'll be updating all playbooks as soon as I test them out.

Did the Makos stay undefeated???

Yes they did!!!

Makos only undefeated team in the MFL.  Don't know what happend but we stopped throwing the ball to Hagen, Greaney decided he wanted to spread it around and almost cost us the game.  At least Sugden got another int.

Congrats to Bay City on their first win, and looks like my prediction of Market City from the West wasn't so bad, they are starting to come together...

It's nice Metropolis decided that playing defense is a good thing.  Combined with the #1 scoring offense, they are going to lay some hurting on people this year.

Congrats to Bay City on their first win, ...

Thx Reaser. Yes this victory is like a little light at the end of a looong tunnel.
Hopefully we can give some more troubles to our upcoming opponents.
But i guess our main task now is to regroup & rebuild the team to be a real competitor in the next season.
DT mentioned, he´s willing to give them all means he has for improvment (new playbook). Let´s pray that will help
us out of our misery. [;)]

Oh man, I clicked on the standings/schedules/results page first and it shows us winning 17-7 then went back to the first page and saw we lost our first game....

Only 3 regular season games left, I think we only need to win one of 3 to clinch a playoff spot, don't even want the #1 seed because most seasons that is an automatic playoff loss.
