Win 7 support?

Post by johnfmonahan »

Just bought it. Windows don't work right. Will support be forthcoming for Win 7 64 bit or can I get my money back?
When in doubt, go on line.

I've been programming and running HCE on the release version of Windows 7 64-bit for a little over two months now without issue.

See tm.asp?m=1633589 for other items such as the scenario editor not running on 64-bit versions of windows. If you have Windows 7 Pro or better Microsoft makes a virtual machine of Windows XP available to you at no additional cost from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtua ... nload.aspx

As for refunds, you'll want to contact Matrix directly thru the helpdesk or look up Erik Rutins on the forum and e-mail him directly. Matrix's stated policy is no refunds but that doesn't mean the rules aren't bent on occasion.

What do you mean by 'Windows don't work right"?

I currently run it on Win7 64-bit and it plays fine. Are you getting any particular error messages/crashes, etc?
