USSR attacking Finland

Post by patchogue »

Has anyone else noticed that if you attack Finland the entire Red Army is activated at no cost - not even a DP hit with the Western Allies. This tends to allow you to be ready and waiting when the Germans attack.

Do people play a house rule banning such sneaky (but historical) tricks?

Actually, Chocolino has started doing that in a couple of games he's played against Chuck and I. No house rule against it with us. As you said, it's quite historical. What's not historical is the ease by which the USSR is able to conquer Finland.
