Here we go again

Post by borner »

Ike and I have started a new game. Actually the first of two. Sen 17. The game will end 10-1-43. We then will switch sides and in the end see who have the higher % as the US to determine the winner. The thought is ending early will cut down on the late game US air advantage and force the US to be more aggressive. It should prove to be very interesting.

RE: Victory levels

Post by bigred »

After watching your AAR and the final score I wonder if the victory levels should be modified as follows:
IJN decisive=<1.25 to 1
IJN marginal=<1.5 to1
draw = 1.5 to 1.6
Allied marginal=<1.85 to 1
Allied decisive= >1.85 to 1

I clearly think the levels need adjusted. I also strongly beleive the game needs to end 2-3 months before 12-31-43. Let's face it, the least 3 months Japan cannot really do much anyway in most cases. In our latest game IKE and I are ending 10-1-43. There is another thread where players are asked to post point rations from past games to start and get an idea of where things usually end.

Faced w/ growing opposition from American veterans and ophaned children of Argentine dissidents, someone has muzzled our beloved leader of the UV forum. But we still like him.
