Is it also possible to add some music tracks of our own? Also how does one turn off the incessant music?

Yes I believe there is a way to add other music but I have never done it. However I believe there is some info on this forum about it. Possible one of the other players knows.

As for turning off the music go into a scenario, start playing it, then on the top menu bar look for options. Click on that and down at the bottom of the drop list make sure background music is not clicked. You can right click it to turn it off. If you click it again it will turn on.
