EF II Scenario set: PanzerBlitz: Barbarossa 1941

Post by Crossroads »

Commanders,

On behalf of Alan Arnold I am happy to introduce a brand new scenario set to immediate availability:

PANZERBLITZ: BARBAROSSA 1941 (21 scenarios)
Panzerblitz: Barbarossa 1941 was originally a 21-scenario set created by James Johnson and posted on Boardgame Geek and Consimworld. He created these in response to a need for more 1941 scenarios in Panzerblitz. He felt that the ones published in the General Vol.13, #3 way back in 1976 were very weak. But he also understood the limitations (lack of source material and publishing constraints) that the author of those scenarios, Ramiro Cruz, was under when he made them. Although the series was made for Panzerblitz, James used a modified rules set based on the rules from Panzerblitz's sister games Panzer Leader and Arab-Israeli Wars. These included some new features to the basic game which I converted to East Front.

Download available at the Blitz:

While at it, do go check out the original PanzerBlitz: Barbarossa 1941 situation cards at the Boardgamegeek website: LINK

Again, my sincere thanks to Alan for converting these fab PB situations to Campaign Series format [:)]

Are these just straight unzips into the scenario folder?

looks like an unzip into the East Front folder.

Got it installed just fine.Looked at the Prokhorovka setup, damn people play something that size, holy Sh**. Think I've only played Prokhorovka in bits and pieces, that looks like a career choice.

Yes, just put them into game folder. JTCS does not have the specific subfolders as the newer CS Middle East has.

You don't say! I played the previous Prokhorovka game version as a 3x3 team game, was huge fun, although the Germans got whipped pretty bad. Devilish losses to Soviets while achieving that victory, though. Tank losses were in the hundreds!
