Bf110 series

Why do variants C1, C4 and F2 have identical stats? Should the E2 variant really have such a low fighter vs. fighter value (0) compared to the C1?

For the Messerschmitt Bf110, we have 5 models: 3 Fighters and 2 Bombers.

The Bf 110 Fighters :

The only difference between these three models is the Movement Points but because of the very high values it has no influence in practice.
In the first version of the game, the air units had no values so high.

The Bf 110 Bombers :

The Bf 110 Bombers have an Attack value against Aircraft = 0.
If you look for the other bombers, they have all this Attack value against Aircraft equal to 0.

Hi terminator,

The Bf 110 fighters also have ground attack ability and are quite good in that role; better than Bf 109 but not as good as real bombers. You will see two Bf 110 fighter-bombers in my Smolensk AAR when it comes out, I guess early in January.

Attack value 0 for bombers means that a bomber cannot chase and attack fighters, it can only fire back if attacked by them. This was also a situation in some Panzer General II mods where bombers like Ju 88, He 111 and Stuka can only defend themselves if attacked but bomber version of Fw 190 can also attack fighters because it has attack value. The editor of Panzer General II allows to enable or disable ''Air Attack'' and set values for it. I guess few people actively play Panzer General II these days but the mods are still available and maybe some ideas can be borrowed from them. They also had several Bf 110 versions with different attack values.
The art of war is simple and esay to understand but fighting a war is hard.

Brings up the question that a F-2 variant should have (and does regarding range and speed) better specks than the older C1 variant that costs the same amount of resource points....
