Patch 1.01c on Steam?

Revolution Under Siege is a simultaneous turn based historical wargame that puts you in charge of one of the factions that fought the Russian Civil War (1917-1923). From a ragtag group of volunteers create the powerful Red Army, using all the weaponry and equipment at your disposal: planes, tanks, armored trains, Cheka troops and the Konarmia (the famous Red Cavalry). Or, on the opposite side, gather all patriots and reform the elite divisions that shall save Holy Mother Russia. Can you succeed in crushing the Bolshevik hydra? Or will the people’s Revolution prevail?

Patch 1.01c on Steam?

The game on Steam should be patched to 1.01c (the patch was announced in Steam). But it is not, don´t know why.
Does anyone know if it´s possible to have it patched manually, from the file downloaded here in Matrix? I try, but when executing the installer, it says "no RUS installed in this PC".

Apart from that, which is the best way to let the problem know to Steam? Here or Steam support?

what version does your steam game say?
Windows 11 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 22621) (22621.ni_release.220506-1250)

And the readme and what´s new docs in the game folder are those of 1.01

Its 2022 and Im having the same issue. Current version of the Steam game is supposed to be 1.01c but after Steam purchase (7/6/22) and download, version # (lower right as game loads) shows to be 1.01 as do the game notes even though the steam forum says it should be 1.01c. If you try to install the patch from Matrix into the Steam Purchase, it says "No RUS installed on this PC." ?

I'll post it here as it seems there's no information about it anywhere. And I found several posts like that on different forums.
Thank you for contacting us. The developer confirmed that we have updated the Steam release with the patch 1.0.1C
When running you'll see it as 1.0.1 but that's because they haven't updated the number version. Also the files "readme.rtf" and "whatsnew.pdf" were never updated.

It was just a little mistake by the developer, andatiep.

He forgot to add a c in a line in the file System.opt that is located in this folder:

"\Revolution Under Siege Gold\RUS\Settings"

You may open the file with a text editor and change the line:

GameVersion = 1.01

To

GameVersion = 1.01c


By the way, andatiep added a minipatch after that. It is in this thread in ageod forum:

There is a .rtf file included explaining how to install it.

After that you may change the line to ;)

GameVersion = 1.01c Minipatch
