I guess I don't understand.  Barrage points can be saved from turn to turn and are available to any artillery unit during any orders phase.  What am I missing?

You reload a unit if you know that you want it to fire the next turn/impulse, you don't want to spent this point in the turn/impuse youre in because you accidentially spent it on some other unit.

So wait, if I reload this turn and barrage next turn it doesn't use barrage points?   I have never actually reloaded artillery so I'm completely in the dark.

EDIT: Ok thanks boogada, I understand now.

I may install only newest patch?
Must I install all patch that release ever? [&:]

I can't select unit that I desire in mobilization phase.
Though I click the unit in a stack , the unit is hiding behind other unit. [:(]

Sorry my poor english.

I'm not sure about that.
Is it possible to build trench in city ?
Does trench have effect in city ?
According to recon , sometimes it shows 1-3 trenchs in city.

Fortifications and trenches are reflected in the same number in the lower right corner of the unit.

Trenches can be built in cities. There is a caveat in that some cities start with existing prewar fortications. From what I have seen, if the city has prewar fortifications at level 3, you will not be able to build level 1, 2 or 3 trenches in it. I believe this is because fortifications and trenches serve the same function in reducing the effect of hostile artillery and ground attacks. I suspect you will be able to build level 4 entrenchments when you reach that level (I am not sure as I don't believe I have ever had level 4 entrenchments in my games).

If the city has no fortifications, you can build entrenchments in it as soon as you have the appropriate entrenching technology level.

Trenches and fortifications are effective in cities.

Other related information. Siege guns work well for destroying city fortifications. Assault troops and tanks work well for attacking entrenchments.

Edit - found the most recent manual and updated my response based on it.
