Spartan Autosave/s

I note that Spartan has Autosaved seven times during the first tutorial !

Both Legion and Chariots of War simply overwrote the previous Autosave file.

Is there any way to get Spartan to do this ?

[ I presume by some kind of entry on the user.txt file ? ]
