Two cool things

This is a turn based fantasy game with a mix of strategy and RPG elements. It is in development at Crasleen Games, a small indie developer. The closest comparison would be a game like Battle for Wesnoth. We think its a great game from a small new studio and that this will be a solid base for Crasleen to build on for the future!

Two cool things

Post by FroBodine »

I just found out two very cool things in this game:

1. You can play hot seat vs. the computer AI. Extremely cool. Quick skirmishes against the AI is always a good thing.

2. You can rename your dudes! There is a button that looks like a quill pen at the top left of large character window in the camp screen. To the right of that is the disband button.

Everyone may already know about this stuff, but I didn't, and I think they are way cool.

Good catch with the hot seat skirmish mode... I didn't see that...

I saw the naming option and now I can't bring myself to bury anybody... I feel like I know them. that's why I haven't tried Ironwill level yet.

That is a cool feature. I didn't know you could play against the computer in hot seat. Thanks.

(I need to break down and read the manual someday.)

I just saw on the Slitherine forum that there are cheat codes. Thanks Vladimir!

Press the z key then enter the first word...

kill- enemy units take 10 damage.
heal- player units recover full health.
gold- player gets 1000 gold.
know- all units receive 100 experience.

(I can only verify kill and heal so far...I haven't tried the others.)
