USSR land moves

Nothing in the west.
Few units move in Manchuria and Vlad area to block Japanese.

US INF div to Tunisia

US HQI Hodges in NZC waits for JJ's confirmation. I move on as this does not effect attacks in Europe.


Invasion
CW MAR (6-3), INF (7-3) and INF (2-3) div to 54,28 SW of Rouen.

Allies are trying to break out from small pocket in Le Havre and Rouen. I'm not sure if Axis saw this coming, but they replaced 4 strength unit with 5 strength last impulse in target hex.


Paradrop
Paradrop (US 5-3 PARA) to empty hex 55,26 two hexes SW of invasion. Escorted by 7 factor Typhoon.

Only one Italian fighter can try to intercept ATR, will it fly?

See the picture and black circles for invasion hex, paradrop hex and Italian plane that can intercept. CW has 6 and 4 factor fighters in intercept range in Le Havre. I tried to present all planes in the area in this picture, some hexes have more than on plane.

Against invasion hex 54,28 SW of Rouen from units in Rouen, ENG used (22:6 = 7,3B).

Against lone German INf in Tunisian mountains (42:2).

Does Germany use notional for invasion (see the picture)?

Does Germany use notional for paradrop (if no, it's automatic, so I guess it's used)?

Axis use notional in both attacks.

Allies uses 9 points of shore bombardment to invasion attack (31:6 = 11,3B).


Ground support

Allies fly

To paradrop hex
LND2 (2 tactical factors)
LND2 (1 tactical factor)
FTR3 as escort (5 A2A factors)

To invasion hex
CVP1 (1 tactical factor)
NAV3 (3 tactical factors)
2x FTR2 (8 and 7 A2A factors)

Allies have in Le Havre 2x FTR2 (with 4 and 6 A2A factors) that can intercept to both hexes.


No ground support in Tunisia (attack is 42:2)

Axis can send lots of planes to Tunisia, but I think that is not useless. Let me know if you want to know which planes can fly.

Italian FTR2 (4 A2A) from Brest to paradrop hex, and German NAV3 (1 tactical) from Brest paradrop hex.

Axis stay as long as any bomber remains. Target enemy fighters if the Axis bomber remains, and enemy bombers if the Axis bomber has aborted, or cleared. Edit: Axis bomber remains even if no Axis fighter remains in the air combat.

FTR2 lands in Paris, and NAV3 in Bordeaux. If they survive, that is.

Axis select assault combat if we can decide for the land combat.

When air combat begins, Allies intercept with 6 factor FTR2.

So Allies have two fighters, if that effects to Axis indtructions.

Final odds. Attack in Africa is automatic.

Most Allied planes returned to UK. One FTR2 landed to Rouen and NAV3 to Marseilles.
