I got the save, had time enough for a real session, so I sat down to figure out how to make the game challenging for the Allies. Didn't succeed in my goal to make it challenging, but it looked decent enough, and it looked like we wouldn't be crushed into surrendering for a few impulses at least. Fairly pleased with myself I advanced the game.
And then MWIF hit me with a rule that I did not know correctly. Full stop. Rulebook opened, and checked. Of course I was in the wrong, and MWIF correct. Now I need to go back to see if it can be fixed, or not.
However, this has drained me of my energy. Not that I have much gaming time left today either. I expect to get back to the game tomorrow. Hopefully fresh with new ideas on how to get the Allies to despair instead of the Axis side. At least one can still dream big as Axis.

FTR2 from target hex and 6 factor FTR2 east of AA gun. Return to same hexes, better one in front and target bomber.

I was a bit surprised that we won an air combat so easily, and got a bomber cleared. But order was restored at once. The AA rolled 6, and aborted the bomber (6,10,9,10).
