Can you repair broken rail lines destroyed by Sabatours and if so how?

The title says it all. I read how to prevent rail lines from being broken (put a line of units on it) but I could not
find how to repair them?

As the player you don't handle rail repair. It's calculated and conducted by the game engine automatically between turns at a rate of 3 hexes per turn if the map supply level is 5 or higher.
