Blue Water Map Mod

Post by Nicholas Bell »

I suffer minor color blindness (anomalous trochromacy) and the water looks distinctly light green to me. If it looks blue to you, then you don't need this. This makes the water, shallow water, rivers and canals of all types in all zoom levels "blue". The rivers are based on Telumar's & Silvanski's terrain mods. You can place them in a scenario's Graphics Override folder or in your main Graphics folder - just be sure to back up your existing files in case you find these not to your liking.

I don't "need" this, but I like it better than the original files.

Thanks!

Good job. I like the water tiles... The river tiles don't give me much distinction between major and minor rivers

I edited Nicholas' river files to make them more light, while leaving the major river files unchanged. I like the results.
