Taking the game back up from a few years ago. After searching the forum and the manual still wondering is there is a deeper explanation to what specifically unit and (even more curious) leader experience actually does. Any thoughts or is there a thread already?

Unit XP basically gives some atk & def in every category, the detailed formula is in the manual.
HQ XP gives additional readiness to every attached unit.
