Side effect of Bad Weather Air power changes

Post by Lothos »

Prior to the change Air Power sight was turned off in bad weather so you could not see anything.

With the latest change bad weather and good weather their sight is the same.

I would suggest either having their sight turned off (like before) or have it halved when in bad weather just like the rest of their combat stats.

Good idea! At least halving it for bad weather would be good. I'd actually say that it could be considered a bug that it's not reduced, so maybe move this thread to the Tech Support section?

Yes I really think planes flying into or through storms shouldn't be able to see adjacent stormy-weather hexes. Same for passive scouting. Imagine sighting the enemy fleet at Midway in the middle of a storm or blizzard. It should be harder for search and recon planes to see.
